The Jason Bourne series of movies, starring Matt Damon, are, in my opinion, some of the best action movies out there. Period. The Bourne Identity was awesome and The Bourne Supremecy was even better. This summer (3 August), The Bourne Ultimatum debuts; check out the trailer.

The Jason Bourne character is based on Robert Ludlum’s books of (nearly) the same name. Although I’ve read a number of Ludlum’s books, I’ve never read a Bourne novel. Perhaps, after I’ve satisfied my John Le Carre appetite (more on this later), I’ll read some more of his books.
